Ricoh has released a development update for its Pentax K-3 Mark III APS-C DSLR camera system, announcing its release has been delayed due to supply chain issues.
Originally announced on October 27, 2020, the Pentax K-3 Mark III was set for a release during CP+ 2021, which is scheduled to take place from February 25 through 28. That is no longer the case though, as Ricoh has run into issues with supplying parts for its APS-C DSLR:
‘As some of the product parts are delayed, and we have determined that development will require a greater amount of time for us to achieve the exceptional performance and finest quality that is the hallmark of next aps-c flagship model.’
Ricoh doesn’t provide a timeframe for the new release date, but says it ‘will inform [customers] again in the near future.’
