PM Modi is on a three-day trip to the US. Prime Minister will attend the first-ever Quad leaders’ summit on September 24. He will address the 76th session of the UN General Assembly before his return to India on Sept 25
Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter on Wednesday to post a picture of himself going through documents while on his way to the US. The PM is expected to land at the Andrews Airbase in Washington DC around 3.30 am (IST).
In the picture he posted on Twitter, Prime Minister Modi can be seen working his way through a heap of documents with a suitcase and files on the seat next to him.
“A long flight also means opportunities to go through papers and some file work,” he captioned the image.
After his aircraft lands at the Andrews Airbase, PM Modi’s cavalcade will move towards Hotel Willard on Pennsylvania Avenue.
On Thursday, PM Modi will meet the CEOs of five major companies – Qualcomm, Adobe, First Solar, General Atomics and Blackstone.
He will then meet Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison at the Willard Hotel around 11 pm (IST).
PM Modi is slated to hold a 60-minute meeting with US Vice President Kamala Harris at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building. This meeting will be followed by another with Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga on the same day.
On Friday, he will hold a bilateral meeting with US President Joe Biden at the White House followed by the first-ever Quad leaders’ summit.
The Prime Minister will then address the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York on Saturday. During his visit in New York, PM Modi will stay at the Lotte New York Palace Hotel in Manhattan.
